LMA is  developing hardwareand software packages for Colleges and Universties seeking to developtheir own HD-SDI and SD-601 broadcasting and  film productioncapabilities. In these packages, the client can choose from an array ofcamera, capture devices, media production,  and storage equipmentfromcompanies such as Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Toshiba, Thompson, andLinuxMedia Arts.

LMAhas recently intiated the Univeristy Media Production LinuxConsortium.  In this consortium, there will be opportunities fornumerous Universties to share technology and production concepts tobuild their department into fully capable network broadcast televisionand film production departments.    A number of invitationshave been sent out and we will be announcing a list of members laterthis month.
