LMA is developing its hardware and software

rigorous standards of SMPTE, the Society of Motion Picture and
Television Production Engineers. SMPTE provides the guidelines
and methods for the development of the highest standards of media
production worldwide.
LMA's development
relationship
with REDHAT is to provide and share media production
technologies. LMA will provide programs, hardware, and media
production kernel technologies advances to REDHAT. This
relationship will further define REDHAT as a desired platform for
operating systems in Linux film and television production environments.
LMA's participation in the Pro-MPEG forum is
